Arts of Vision Optometry (AVO) was conceptualized in 2018 and was officially incorporated in March 2019. The company is aptly named as it combines the trendiness of fashion and the quality of product in eyewear. AVO aims to capture the untapped market in the field of optometry and vision care. It focuses on integrating technology into its revenue generation process as well as venturing into the blue ocean niche market which has less competition and high potential for growth, capitalizing on the unique mix of it’s founding members.

Pn. Azlin Mat Salleh graduated with Bachelor in Optometry (Hons.) from University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2000. She started her career as an optometrist in Penang. From 2001 to 2004, she was employed by Eyemaster Sdn. Bhd., which was running the optical business at UKM, where Pn. Azlin served as Resident Optometrist and Clinical Supervisors; before moving to a managerial position at Syifa Optometrist in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. In 2011, Pn. Azlin joined the Tun Hussein Onn National Eye Hospital to serve as Senior Optometrist at the Optometry Department, where she was later promoted as Optometry Manager in 2016. To realize her aspiration in providing better accessibility to eye care to the public, Pn. Azlin embarked on a journey to establish Arts of Vision Optometry in 2018.
